We'll be offering a week-long summer camp focused on Chess, Math, and outdoor games.

Dates: Monday Aug 4 - Friday Aug 8

Age: 5-10. No prior chess experience needed

Cost: $375 full week / $80 per single day

Location: 2130B Harrison St + nearby public parks for outdoor time

Duration: 8:45am-3:45pm (drop off from 8:15am, pickup until 4:30pm)

Camps are led by Sebastian Predescu, the head teacher at Inner Fire, alongside Sofia Merto a passionate math educator. Sebastian is a national chess master and Sofia holds a degree in math from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. We are excited to welcome up to 10 students in each camp.

Our days will combine instruction and structured practice with free play and outdoor breaks:

8:00-8:45: Arrival
8:45-9:00: Morning warmup & meditation

9:00-9:45: Math circle lecture

9:45-10:45: Snack break, then open chess play

10:45-11:30: Outdoor recess @ In Chan Kaajal Park

11:30-12:15: Individual math puzzle practice

12:15-1:00: Lunch & open play

1:00-1:30: Chess lecture

1:30-2:00: Chess league games

2:00-2:45 Outdoor recess @ Franklin Square soccer field

2:45-3:45: Open game play

3:45-4:30: Parent pickup

We will provide all instructional materials and game supplies, families are expected to provide lunch and snacks for students.
